About the RoleThe Sr. Financial Analyst will assist in the execution of the budgeting process alongside the Associate Director of Financial Planning and Systems. This person will utilize corporate finance techniques to assess value of investments or spending projects, conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting for AHD, and partner with the senior leadership team and cost center managers. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, strong analytical skillset, and a desire to learn the business.
What you will do... Responsible for assisting with planning, reporting and analysis – Budget, Reforecast, Monthly Financial ReviewUnderstand and identify business drivers for variances including volume, rate/price and mixPartner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial support for business case related to new product development, capex spending, cost savings, etc. utilizing corporate finance techniques such as DCF, NPV, Breakeven, Payback, and Sensitivity analysisAnalyze data, derive insights and provide recommendations to maximize return on investmentCoordinate with other members of the finance team and cross functional leaders to review financial information, challenge assumptions and build budgets/forecastsIdentify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvementAssist in building a full set of financial statements (PL, BS, CF) for forecasting and budgeting
What we are looking for... Required Bachelor’s degree – Finance or Accounting1-5 years of experience as a financial analyst, cost analyst, or operations supportKnowledge of PowerPoint and experience in ERP systems, Sage X3 preferred, Oracle, and EPM/HFM reporting platformsMust possess strong Excel skills, including the ability to build detailed models and use pivot tablesAbility to articulate clearly, professional oral and written communication skillsMaintain confidentiality of sensitive informationMust be proficient in general computer programs such as Microsoft OfficeAbility to think creatively and work with management to identify new opportunities to improve business processes or functionsExceptional analytical, modeling, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skillsPossesses strategic thinking and presentation skills

Compensation
Starting annual salary: $90,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
