Position ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Hydrogeologist. The primary responsibilities for the advertised position will include preparation of soil and groundwater assessment and corrective action reports and work plans, as well as coordination with clients, regulators, junior staff, and Principals. This position will also include collaborative oversight of field staff, as well as limited borehole logging and aquifer evaluation at job sites.
QualificationsBachelor's degree (minimum) in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field5-10+ years of experience. Experience must include field work and office work in environmental consultingProfessional Geologist, or Geologist in Training (minimum)Experience with South Carolina environmental regulations, particularly SUPERBStrong knowledge of groundwater systems and contaminantsProven proficiency in technical writing, Excel, and CAD draftingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAttention to detail and strong communication skills are a must
