About The Company
Our client is one of the largest alternative asset managers with over $900 billion in AUM. They are hiring an Associate of Portfolio Valuations & Analytics who is responsible for forecasting financials, producing fund-level performance records and analytics, as well as preparing various LP and management reports and requests.
Responsibilities
Assisting with updating valuation templates each quarter, including discounted cash flow, performance multiple, and other valuation modelsCompiling documentation to support actual financial and company comparable assumptions used in the valuation modelsAssessing underlying assumptions used to develop DCF, performance multiples, and other valuationsMaintaining, preparing, and analyzing summary valuation and performance schedulesUpdating quarterly planning models to reflect actual performance and roll future cash flowsCompleting variance analysesAssessing value creation drivers that have contributed to changes in valuations over the holding period of each investmentAssisting in enhancing the group’s reporting processes, procedures, and analytics
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a quantitative discipline1-2 years of experience in a financial roleStrong analytical skillsPrevious valuation experience and working knowledge of Capital IQ and Bloomberg are a plusProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
