📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
About The Company
Our client is an investment advisor managing over $4 billion in AUM across four core strategies, credit relative value, tail hedge, SPACs, and closed-end funds. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the hedge fund finance and accounting function.
Responsibilities
Prepare month-end close process including valuation and pricing of the portfolio to establish the month-end NAVsReview month-end NAV and resolve issues with administratorAssist with annual financial statement preparationProduce monthly investor reporting and respond to investor queries and reporting requirementsAssist with regulatory reporting including Form PF, CPO PQR, and 13FMaintain and review shadow partnership allocationsRecalculate and verify management and incentive fees
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting4-6 years of fun accounting experienceCPA requiredUnderstanding of fund structuresStrong Excel skillsTax experience a plus
Salary Range
$115,000-$130,000
