📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
About The Company
Our client is a top real estate investment firm with over $74 billion in AUM with a focus on industrial, residential, and commercial properties. The Portfolio Accountant will perform financial, accounting, and reporting functions for the firm’s core funds.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze property financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, general ledgers, and cash flow statementsEnsure accuracy of property level reporting and provide variance explanations for real estate assetsReview and approve weekly real estate payablesWork with management companies on maintaining multiple basis general ledgers for a portfolio of assetsReview and finalize annual real estate operating budgetsReview and finalize annual CAM reconciliations for designated assetsAssist with uploading multi-level transactions into the firm’s accounting software
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or business3-5 years of related accounting experience in real estateCPA requiredStrong Excel skills requiredKnowledge of MRI or similar system a plus
Salary Range
$85,000-$120,000
