About The Company
Our client is a global investment firm with over $75 billion in AUM that uses creative strategies to generate attractive returns for its clients through syndicated leveraged loans, high yield bonds, asset-based leasing, and private equity. The Tax Analyst will assist the team with tax planning and compliance for the management company, funds, and managed accounts.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of the management company and general partner entity federal, state & local tax returns with outside accountantsAssist with the preparation of the foreign tax filings related to overseas operating entitiesAssist with the preparation of and review the vendor Forms W-8/W-9’sPrepare work papers, computations, and partner allocations including proper characterization of taxable income and expense amountsMaintain tax basis fixed asset ledgersPrepare quarterly and annual tax provision computations and accompanying financial statement footnotesPrepare communications in response to notices from federal, state & local tax authoritiesAssist with tax team automation initiatives and special projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax1-3 years of tax compliance experienceExperience with domestic and international taxExposure to multiple entity structures a plus
Salary Range
$90,000-$110,000
