Junior Project Manager (Video Production)

Are you a Chicago-area Junior Project Manager with video production experience? Our client, a global airline, is seeking a skilled Junior Project Manager with video production experience to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of production from start to finish. This is a 40 hour per week contract role, and you must be able to work onsite up to 8 days a month in Chicago, Illinois.

Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must have 3 years' professional experience both as a project manager, project coordinator or account executive, and account manager involving video production.

You Will

Manage complex projects, timelines, budgets and resources needed to complete requestsGather and understand stakeholder requirements, project goals and desired strategic outcomesBuild and maintain relationships with strategic partners, external vendors, and numerous internal stakeholdersManage and prioritize multiple enterprise projects simultaneously using project management softwarePrepare reports and proactively identify and mitigate risksEstablish alignment with legal, brand and editorial standards and processesEnsure all projects meet the proper compliance when applicableWork with cross-functional teams in a creative environment and foster open communicationOnboard new vendors setting up invoicing and payment process requirementsCollaborate with internal video production team and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of projects to clientsProvide logistics, travel booking, production and post-production support to internal team and external vendorsAdditional project support including generating transcripts and maintaining project documentation and licensing agreements

You Have

Bachelor's degree3 years' professional experience as a project manager, project coordinator or account executive3 years' account management experience involving video productionPrevious project management experience include the coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope and budgetPrevious work experience at an agency or large corporation a plus, however not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), DAM platforms and online collaborative toolsWorkfront and Microsoft Teams experience strongly preferredFamiliar with video production process, file sharing and software
