Job DescriptionASAP/GeoStructures, Inc. is seeking a mechanic to work on-site in Belle Glade, Florida, and travel to job sites throughout the Florida area as needed.

RequirementsProven experience as a mechanic with excavators, cranes, and loadersExcellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and componentsAptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirementsInspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issuesService electrical and hydraulic circuits and read schematicsConduct repairs aiming for maximum reliabilityTroubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely mannerPerform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systemsClean and apply lubricants to machinery componentsReplenish fluids and components of engines and machineryProvide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle usersUndertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.)Keep logs of work and report on issuesIf you are an individual with disabilities and need assistance with this site, please contact Human Resources at (540)751-5034.We comply with the ADA and consider reasonable accommodation measures that may be necessary for eligible applicants/employees to perform essential functions.GeoStructures, Inc./ASAP is an equal opportunity employer.
