The way we share ideas, learning, experiences, successes, and joy allows everyone to be their best at Ascendion. *** About the Role *** Job Title: Lead SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Engineer Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and RestSharp, HttpClient and Selenium to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality assurance requirements and considerations.Develop and enhance the automation framework to accommodate Azure Cloud base application testing.Establish and maintain best practices in QA automation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:Minimum 2+ years of experience Leading / Mentoring a team members. Extensive development and testing experience, minimum of 8+ years of writing C# code and SQL experience are required.Advanced Automation experience using Visual Studio, C#, using RestSharp, HttpClient and SeleniumAdvanced knowledge and experience on REST APIs and web services and experience with Postman.Advanced knowledge of Azure ADO, JIRA and other test Management tools is required, knowing X-ray test management is a plus.Should have Data validation experience.Experienced with Grid or Docker servers/set up.Experienced working in an agile/scrum model, understanding and experience with SaFe method is a plus.Strong abilities for debugging and troubleshooting codes, Applications, or bugs.Strong capability to build platform performance and testing and analysis framework.Able to work with multiple teams, such as Development, DevOps, Release management to coordinate and sync and resolve any level issues for the system if any.
Desired Qualifications:Mortgage industry experience is nice to have. Empower LOS (Loan Origination System) experience a plus.
Location: This is 100% remote Role (Needs to work as per CST Time Zone) Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $70,000 – $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
