Job Description:Ascendo is seeking an experienced AR Specialist to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically in Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPS, and experience with SAP software. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of progressive AR experience and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:Analyze database reports and translate findings into Excel spreadsheets and accounting software.Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents and data for review by the AR Manager.Maintain data quality and consistency.Identify and resolve payment discrepancies with external clients and review error reports.Provide guidance and instruction to the AR team on multiple systems to troubleshoot any process issues.Investigate customer chargebacks, gather necessary information, and conduct thorough reviews for managerial approval.Collaborate with Inventory, Accounts Payable, and Customer Service departments as needed.Manage month-end and year-end closing activities for accounts receivable.Undertake ad hoc projects and assist with all AR functions as required.
