Position Description: Our client is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with 2 or more years of experience to join our esteemed Orlando Corporate Practice Group. In this role, you will collaborate closely with seasoned partners specializing in advising both publicly and privately held entities on a wide array of domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, private placements, and other general corporate matters. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional drafting and communication skills, an unwavering commitment to detail, and the ability to thrive within demanding deadlines. While not mandatory, prior experience at a leading national or international law firm would be advantageous. Candidates must be members in good standing of the Florida Bar.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with partners to support the execution of complex corporate transactions and matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to provide insightful counsel on various corporate issues.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements and documents.Assist in due diligence investigations and transactional closings.Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of legal services.Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Must be a member of the Florida Bar.2 or more years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, or similar areas.Strong proficiency in legal research, writing, and analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Prior experience at a leading national law firm.
