Credit Analyst

Seeking a Credit Analyst to join a bank in Miami! You will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of our clients. You will work closely with our relationship managers to evaluate credit applications and provide recommendations on credit decisions. You will also monitor existing credit relationships to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:Assess credit applications from individuals, businesses, and corporations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulationsReview financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, tax returns and other financial data to determine the creditworthiness of loan applicantsIdentify potential risks and provide recommendations to minimize credit lossesConduct in-depth analysis of customer financial information and credit reports to establish credit limits and termsMaintain accurate records of credit assessments, reports, and recommendationsInteract with clients and stakeholders to gather additional information or to explain the bank's policies and procedures regarding credit productsMonitor credit risk exposure and provide regular credit risk management reports to the management and stakeholders

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accounting2+ years of experience in a credit analysis role in the banking, financial services, or related industryBilingual Preferred (English & Spanish)Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailFirm understanding of financial analysis and financial statement interpretationExperience dealing with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agenciesAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressureExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications and other financial analysis tools
