Responsibilities:- Maintain the accounting records for both investment advisory and broker dealer operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.- Assist in the preparation and audit of financial statements and regulatory filings, including monthly and quarterly reports.- Engage in continuous improvement projects, focusing on data automation, standardization, and implementation of best practices.- Provide backup support to the Controller, stepping in for day-to-day operations as needed.- Undertake special projects and other duties as requested by management to support the broader finance team's objectives.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.- 3+ years of robust accounting experience, preferably in the broker dealer or investment advisory sectors.- Proficient with advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.- CPA certification / CPA candidate is preferred but not required.
