Software Implementation Specialist – Remote – US – East Coast

DockMaster is looking to hire a highly motivated, driven Software Implementation Specialist to join our growing team in US – East Coast!

The Software Implementation Specialist is responsible to make sure customers are utilizing the Dockmaster software to its full potential. You will be responsible for handling new client onboarding and trainings, creation of product documentations and videos, staying up to date on all aspects of the Dockmaster software and assisting with quality assurance testing.

DockMaster is a financial management platform for marine and marina businesses worldwide. Customers utilize DockMaster to manage their service jobs, inventories, sales, storage agreements and customer engagement. Our business is celebrating 40 years in the marina management space, and we have a trusted enterprise solution as well as a modern web-based CRM.

The successful candidate will be based anywhere in the US – East Coast, working in a remote work model!

What Your Day Will Look Like

Providing excellent customer serviceScheduling classes, implementations, and services with customers Troubleshooting and evaluating customer issues and needs to provide solutionsManaging, creating, and updating of classes, tutorials, and implementation documentation Providing customer feedback to improve and enhance our product and solutionsTeam collaboration to find solutions for complex customer needsAid in the sale of services to customers to help them fully utilize the system by offering consulting, training, and data solutionsCreate and manage customer-facing documents and videos to help clients utilize and understand DockmasterStay up to date with all aspects of the Dockmaster software and assist with quality assurance testingEnsures customer requirements are met in a timely mannerComplete online and In-person client training and fact-finding sessions

About You

Experience with onboarding and supporting softwareExperience with customer serviceExperience with training online and in-personProcess and product focus. Figuring out and implementing complex systems excites you, and you have a strong understanding of how to use technology and automation to improve processYou love people and truly care about their successYou are extremely organized, delight in the details, and you don’t let little things slip through the cracksYou are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with new software updates regularlySelf-starter mentalityYour instinct is to figure out what is next and move with or without explicit directionYou thrive off deadlines and have the focus and drive to work independently when neededAbility to multitask and work on multiple projects and responsibilities at the same timeExtremely tech-savvyAbility to use a Windows PC with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel Understands generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) including: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Marine industry / Boatyard administration / Marina experience preferred DockMaster Software experience preferred Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essentialLegally authorized to work in the US
