We are seeking a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE or CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSITIANT in the Clinic at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, Wisconsin to join our team!

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) can provide basic nursing care to patients under the general supervision of a registered nurse, and delegated nursing and medical acts beyond basic nursing care under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.

Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.Previous experience beneficial. Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.

Hours: Full Time or 1.0, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, M-F 8-6.
