Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Aviation Life Support Technician for the RWESS, supporting the Army Division. In your role as an Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician, you will directly support a high paced flight test team involved with testing a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs. You will apply your ALSE experience to provide inspections, maintenance and support of ALSE equipment for flight crew.

Required Qualifications / Skills

High School Diploma. Minimum of five (5) years of Aviation Life Support Equipment experience to include intermediate maintenance. Graduate of the Army, Air Force, or Navy Aviation Life Support Course. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

Desired Qualifications / Skills

Qualification in maintaining T-6D flight gear. Qualified and extensive experience maintaining Army night vision goggles and equipment.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team. Inspect, maintain, fit and adjust ALSE to include: anti-G-suit, oxygen masks torso harnesses survival vests rotary-wing and fixed-wing flight helmets over-water survival gear HEEDS oxygen systems Use, adjust, maintain, and repair sewing machines. Conduct life support equipment training.
