Overview

The Member of Technical Staff discipline is part of a technical career program designed for employees who are working on new and emerging technologies AND who have made a significant commitment to their education by earning at least a 4-year degree in specified STEM areas. Employees must meet specific educational and experience requirements to move into and within these disciplines.

Key Responsibilities And Areas Of Focus

Applies advanced engineering and scientific knowledge to architecture, design and development work in a Research and Development environment for high-value technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company.Conducts work in the areas of new products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, software development engineering, technical security and QA Design/Certification in the area of Mobility Core on-boarding on Azure Nexus Cloud.Work includes technologies of DevOps such as Azure DevOps repos and pipelines, Azure Cloud, Azure Nexus cloud, Terraform and Bicep, Kubernetes, Git, Helm, Ansible, Python, and Bash.Scope includes DevOps developments for networking, technical security, system/platform architecture, monitoring technologies for Mobility Core applications on Nexus Cloud.Conducts quantitative, algorithmic and theory based analysis for addressing business issues in information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market & financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems.May be responsible for architecture design or assessment, standards, system development, analysis and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and systems technologies.May serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering and development.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline e.g. Computer Science, or Engineering.

Our Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff earn between $122,000 – $183,000 USD, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
