Biologist

Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Biologist for BioProduction in Manassas, VA .

We're looking for a Biologist to manufacture biological materials and standards . You'll work under minimal guidance to support the production of biological cultures and derivative products , as well as contribute to data collection and recording.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations: Manufacturing or quality control (QC) testing of biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) , work instructions , and other controlled documents. M aintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies. Documentation: Maintain production batch records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Contribute t o revisions of SOPs an d work instructions. Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring meticulous documentation. Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Increase knowledge of various cell lines and organisms, and handle challenges in alignment with organizational policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 2-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent Hands on laboratory experience with cell culture and aseptic technique required Attention to detai l Ability to adhere to corporate policies and procedures
