Duties
This position is located under the Property and Fleet Management Section, Materiel Management Branch (MMB), Property, Acquisition and Safety Division (PASD), Office of Management (OM), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in Washington, District of Columbia.
As a Logistics Management Specialist (Fleet Manager), GS-0346-13, some of your duties may include:
Serves as a senior logistics specialist, a subject matter expert in the planning, directing and coordinating of a fleet management program and logistical management services that further promote the accomplishment and mission of a nationwide fleet management program. Performs working knowledge of ATF, DOJ, and GSA regulatory requirements, budgetary account management, and automated property management systems.Ensures all ATF offices are following established polices and initiate action to correct discrepancies.Originates new techniques or develops new information.

MOBILITY PLAN: New employees hired pursuant to this vacancy announcement must sign a mobility agreement. To accomplish these objectives, the mobility plan will facilitate the movement of employees through special short-term assignments or permanent reassignments throughout the Bureau. Qualifications
To qualify for 13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12.

Additional Conditions Of Employment
GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
Developing and issuing policies and procedures for the Fleet Management Program ANDEstablishing criteria and analyzing trends in the fleet management program ANDAdvising senior level management on the effectiveness of the fleet management program ANDAnalyzing and developing budgetary justifications related to the Bureau's budget processes.
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
