📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Who we are looking for
We are currently searching for a Certified Welder to be based out of Hebron, OH. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for performing skilled MIG & TIG welding operations.
What you’ll do:
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Adhere to all Life Saving Rules, including: Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding/Bypassing Safety Controls, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety protocolsPerform skilled MIG & TIG welding techniquePerform setup, adjustments and operation of welding machinesOperate an Angle Grinder to prepare parts for welding and to touch up surface defectsSet components for welding in accordance with set specifications and configuration and blueprintsDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method needed based on the requirements of the jobResponsible for assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to ensure weld accuracy and identify weld errorsReplace wire, filters, and gas cradles as neededMust perform First-Piece Inspection, as well as all required subsequent inspectionsResponsible for meeting and/or exceeding hourly rate goalsResponsible for completing the Hour-by-Hour board(s) for the duration of shift
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus three (3) years welding experience preferred.AWS Certification required or Technical School Welding CertificateAbility to follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindsetFlexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekendsAbility to squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environmentMust be willing to work overtime as neededAll associates must embrace and foster an environment that supports our core values of Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability.
