A distinguished pediatric skilled nursing facility is seeking to hire Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses for its Ossining, NY location. The base pay range for this position is $35 to $50 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Responsibilities:The Nurse employs the nursing process to evaluate residents, devise interventions, and assess the effectiveness of care.Conduct necessary treatments and specialized care such as tracheotomy care, central venous line maintenance, oxygen administration, cast care, and dressing changes.Administer medications and immunizations as prescribed.Support the physician during physical examinations and treatments.Assess the outcomes of prescribed treatments, including orthotics, and communicate findings to relevant disciplines.Monitor, document, and communicate abnormal vital signs, seizure activity, other manifestations of disease, and clinically significant data.
Qualifications:Diploma in Nursing (LPN) or a Bachelors Degree (RN)1 year of experience with pediatrics, OPWDD, medically fragile children
