📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
An established organization that works to provide excellent housing and social services is currently seeking a Senior Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) at its Manhattan location. The Senior Social Worker will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations and other assessments, designing and executing individualized treatment plans, and providing supportive services.
The base pay range for this position is $35 to $37 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time, off, and more!
Responsibilities:Evaluate clients' substance abuse, health, mental health, and overall care requirements; make recommendations for internal and external referralsOffer Comprehensive Case Management services, aiding clients in enhancing and sustaining self-care, interpersonal, and vocational skills, as well as achieving housing stabilityOversee discharge planning, actively engage and support clients for 90 days post-discharge.Manage client documentation and provide program narrative and/or statistical reports as necessary.
Qualifications:Masters Degree in Social WorkNYS LMSW License2 years of experience with the homeless population2 years of experience with individuals that experience substance use disorders, mental health conditionsBilingual in Spanish (preferred)
