📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A well-respected school for children with special needs is currently seeking SLP Supervisor in Queens, NY. Responsibilities include providing evaluations and speech/language services to students, as well as educating families, staff, and related personnel on student progress.
The base pay range for this position is $90,000 a year. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. Responsibilities:Provide evaluation and speech therapy services to assigned case/child.Provide consultation on speech and language issues.Provide education to family/staff/other related personnel.Provide counseling to families regarding their child’s development.Perform other assigned duties as defined/directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited collegeNYS Licensed Speech Language PathologistAt least one year of experience with students
