Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work closely with the engineers and other designers to create biddable technical drawings using AutoCAD.Prepare plans, sections, and detailed mechanical layout drawings for water and wastewater projects for municipal clients.Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams and process flow diagrams.Assist in the production of contract drawing submittals and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and technicians.Conduct QA/QC and constructability reviews.Participate in the design of major engineering projects and prepare contract bidding drawings.
Minimum Requirements:Accomplished and multitalented mechanical/piping design with more than 10 years of significant experience designing public works projects including providing maintenance support for municipal water and wastewater projects.Experience in Mechanical AutoCAD skillsExperience in Mechanical, Civil/Environmental Design, or equivalent.Possesses knowledge of regulatory compliance, construction standards, and perform site inspections.Experienced preparing mechanical contract documents, plans, and for construction project.
Technical Requirements:Strong AutoCAD design skillsStrong team skills related to design projects
Other miscellaneous qualities:Local Travel to project sites, no overnight travel.
