Atlas is looking for a Structural Engineer 4 for the Duluth, GA area Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.
Minimum Requirements:• Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering• 10 years minimum professional experience designing bridges• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects• Diverse body of work in the bridge design industry• Experience coaching and leading lower level professionals• Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols• GDOT experience preferred• Good written and verbal communication skills Technical Requirements:• Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred• Master of Civil Engineering preferred• Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD• Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and GDOT in house design software preferred
