Audily is an audio-first media collective of production companies, supporting the biggest names and personalities in podcasting and audio content. As a Podcast Intern at Audily you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to help build our podcast business from the ground up. We are looking for entrepreneurial, curious individuals who are passionate about our mission to deliver narrative storytelling. Internships are compensated on an equity-only basis and will include the following duties:Assist team with:Edit video content to ensure high-quality audio and video, while keeping storytelling at the forefront.Collaborate closely with our production team and external marketing teams to conceptualize and edit engaging video content with supervision from the lead producer.Attend production meetingsCreation of short video clips, teasers, highlights, and quote graphics tailored to the podcast's target audience and platform preferences for social media platforms. Editing full-length video episodes (recorded both virtually on Riverside, and in-studio). Tailor video content for different social media platforms based on the client's branding guidelines. Design custom graphics, thumbnails, and visual assets that reflect the client's brand identity and enhance the visibility of productions on social media.Maintain communication and feedback loops with clients throughout the video creation process, ensuring their satisfaction and making necessary revisions as needed.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video editing, content creation, technologies and digital storytelling to provide clients with innovative solutions and to continuously elevate the quality and impact of our content.Collaborate cross-functionally to brainstorm and execute innovative video projects and campaigns.Reporting directly to the Head Audio Engineer, this internship is ideally suited for a person with the following experience and qualifications:Has a deep interest in and familiarity with podcasts; a passion for audio mixing and editing; practical knowledge of audio editing software and podcast production technology platformsPractical experience and knowledge of pop culture, news and trending media topics - politics and sports in particular are a plusExperienced with Google Applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc), social media and graphic design skillsPassionate about audio storytelling, narrative journalism and podcasting; excited to learn and develop their skills in these areas and contribute to Audily’s missionCurious, highly motivated and open to the value of collaboration and diverse perspectives, willing and able to meet tight deadlines and be responsive to client needsInternship details:Program Purpose: The Audily Internship Program is designed and administered for College & University talent to gain unique entrepreneurial experience working alongside founders. We will scope assignment duration and focus around the needs of the business as well as the circumstances of the talent. Equity-based Comp: Interns are paid via the same equity incentive plan used in Audily with an accelerated vesting period to match the program length.We have a remote-first culture and operate in a highly virtual and asynchronous environment.
