Computer Operations Supervisor (Warehouse Management Systems)

Summary

Supervise computer-related operations within the distribution center to ensure efficiency. Troubleshoot and correct hardware and software problems in a facility with a wide variety of both handheld and desktop computers and peripheral devices.

Requirements

Superior leadership skills. AutoZone management and leadership training.Ability to multitask.Ability to analyze information and direct a work force accordingly.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Experience working in a team-oriented environment.Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.PC literacy, including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes software.Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and/or maintain RF equipment, desktop PCs, and servers.Ability to understand policies and procedures and to clearly relate them to others.Ability to relocate is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day computer-related operations for all shifts of a large distribution center, including start-of-day, end-of-day, and end-of-week functions. Ensure that store billings are completed correctly. Ensure the timely processing of will call ordersMaintain supplies of labels for order selectors.Maintain system and data security by administering access levels for all AutoZoners in the facility. Monitor damages to computer equipment and find ways to reduce the money spent on replacements
