Senior Retail Sales Associate (Full-Time)

AutoZone's Full-Time Senior Retail Sales Associate drives sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. While assisting customers, the Senior Retail Sales Associate will perform daily assigned duties and remain compliant with company procedures in accordance to AutoZone expectations by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

Provides WOW! Customer ServiceEnsures assigned store tasks are completed in a timely manner on assigned shiftOperates cash registers and follows established cash handling proceduresFollows company policies and loss prevention proceduresMaintains a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards as directedEnsures that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areasUtilizes ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternativesMaintains product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information sourcesPractices GOTTChA and assists with the installation of wipers blades, batteries and light bulbsUtilizes OBDII to read codes from customer’s automobilesAbility to diagnose automobile problems and recommend solutions 2024-04-07T00:00:00.000+00:00 AutoZone's Hub Drivers will perform duties inside our stores; as well as, in the operation of a company provided vehicle to assure the safe delivery of parts to and from AutoZone stores and commercial customers. Driver: Store Delivery exceeds customer’s expectation by delivering WOW! Customer Service experience by Living the Pledge every day.

Responsibilities

Provides WOW! Customer ServiceFollows all company policies, procedures and management direction, including all fleet and safety policiesComplies with safe driving rules and procedures and ensures parts are delivered on time and in excellent conditionMaintains safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Properly maintains vehicle(s), complete Daily Vehicle Checklist and take the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issuesDrives company vehicle to deliver parts to AutoZone stores, including safe loading and unloading of partsEnsures appropriate delivery documentation is generated and issued for each delivery, then appropriately filedEnsures assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentableInspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, and vehiclesProcesses and restocks returns from route deliveries in a timely mannerAssists DIY customers between deliveries by performing the following duties:Utilizing ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternativesMaintains product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information sourcesMaintains store appearance and merchandising standards as directed

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of automotive parts is requiredExcellent communication and decision making skillsAbility to lift, load, and deliver merchandiseAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shiftsValid driver’s license and ability to meet AutoZone’s driving requirementsDrivers – 21 years or older
