Spray Booth Technician

The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for a dedicated and proactive Spray Booth Technician to optimize our NuSil team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Carpinteria, CA facility. You will have the opportunity to be a contributor of our fabricated parts team and master various products. The team

Avantor’s NuSil team is part of our Technology business unit. This team supports the innovation and growth objectives of major laboratories across the globe by helping with the integration of new technology solutions into their lab processes and operations.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High school completion or equivalent (GED)Experience: Manufacturing or spraying experience preferredCertification(s): Associates degree or Spraying certification preferred

How You Will Thrive And Create An Impact

Utilize various spray application technologies, including gravity sprayers and pressure sprayersMaintain and troubleshoot spray equipmentClean and maintain spray booth and request parts / materials as neededLearn and adapt to new processesPerform in-process testing in alignment with demanding product specifications and, with support as needed, troubleshoot processesStage materials and effectively plan utilization of limited drying space to maximize outputProvide status updates on projects as required and immediately notify management of any trouble or plan deviations

Pay Transparency

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$58,000.00 - $97,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
