Manager wants to interview Tues, Wed and final round for top candidates on Thurs/Friday HYBRID 2 days per week in Midtown NYCMUST be on your W2 or IC/1099 – NO further subcontracting **Has to be a Power BI Developer NOT on the analytics side…needs to have designed, developed and deployed powerBI dashboards for business units. Must have strong experience with Power Query, DAX and SQL. 80% power BI and 10% Agile 10% the rest. If they have other dashboard as well that is a plus (Tableau). Strong ETL and Alytryx experience as well. PowerBI DeveloperWe are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with business.Stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.This role has flexible hybrid working options and excellent benefits.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, and report/dashboard creation.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design efficient and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.Develop complex Power BI data models to enable accurate and efficient data analysis and visualization.Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and work with stakeholders to address them.Create and maintain data connections and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports and dashboards by tuning queries, implementing efficient data models, and applying best practices.Ensure data security and compliance standards are met by implementing appropriate security measures and access controls within Power BI.Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate Power BI with other systems and data sources, including on-premises and cloud-based platforms.Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and related technologies, and proactively apply them to enhance the overall BI solution.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Power BI developers, assisting them in solving complex problems and improving their skills.Production Support of reports, dashboards, and schedules for EMEA and North American user baseTrain and support end users, as well as self-service capabilities to help non-technical business users build their own analytics and reporting solutions.Basic Qualifications:3 – 5 years’ experience as an analytics developer specializing in Power BIProficient in utilizing Power Query and DAXEducated to degree level preferably in an IT-related discipline, or with Significant industry experienceKnowledge of, and a willingness and ability to adapt to new analytics technologiesA very strong understanding of relational and dimensional databases and an ability to query databases to troubleshoot issues in reportingA flair for clean User Interface / Dashboard design principlesAbility to absorb; present complex ideas quickly; accurately Preferred Qualifications:Experience using Denodo is a plusExperience utilizing APIsExperience with Cloud based platforms (Preferably Azure) is a plusNice to have exposure to PowerApps and Power AutomateHands on experience with Power BI on-premises enterprise data gatewaysExperience with other BI tools (Tableau, Cognos) is a plus
