Business Communications Manager

Providing comprehensive food services with a focus on the highest quality and freshest ingredients, impeccable service and total value is the reputation we have earned and live up to everyday.Desired Qualities and Qualifications:A storyteller, who knows how to identify and craft compelling, high-quality written communications, writing across multiple content disciplines to target varying audiences and influence stakeholdersExperience with RFI, RFQ, and RFP solicitation/bid processes, and/or grant writing and grant evaluation, and/or proven success developing technical, multi-faceted business documents, proposals, and presentationsSkilled at collaborating and navigating across cross-functional teams and inner-company departments; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsTakes initiative to lead and manage projects from start to finish, possessing a strong aptitude for multitasking and managing timelinesProven success in leading department initiatives and serving as the lead writer for proposal development, business pitches, and/or acquisition/retention communications Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities and desire to improve current systems and offer solutions; willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionallySelf-driven work ethic and ability to produce high-quality, highly detailed materials on timeDetail-oriented and strong knowledge and command of English grammar and mechanics; ability to proofread and edit large amounts of written content for accuracy; experience with following brand writing standards and/or style guides such as AP style is a plusExperience in layout design, photography, graphic design, and visual design is a plusExperience with project management systems, CMS, and other organizational tools is a plusExperience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma is a plus Requirement:Five (5) or more years of direct professional experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field preferredDirect professional experience in a role with high accountability and deadlinesDemonstrated success in self-driven work and ability to take ownership and carry projects through to completionOutstanding analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to effectively navigate and strategically leverage high volumes of informationMust love and be motivated to engage in detail-oriented work and writing on a daily basisDemonstrated experience with highly collaborative projectsInterest in contributing to the success of company sales and revenueEnthusiastic, persistent, and passionate in overall work ethic and demeanor
