📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is currently seeking a dynamic Technical/College Recruiter to join our team in Huntsville, AL.
This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and will work with the HR staff in all aspects of recruiting. This position is primarily in-office. In this role, a typical day will include sourcing, interview scheduling and interviewing candidates.
Responsibilities:Utilization of the applicant tracking system to ensure applications are being reviewed and dispositioned in a timely manner.Utilization of applicant tracking system, social networking, and sourcing tools to recruit candidates.Occasional travel required, especially during college recruiting season.Scheduling interviews and interviewing candidates for open positions.Building a talent pipeline by creating long-term relationships with past applicants and new candidates.Participating in our college recruiting program for entry level hires and interns, working with college/university and placement offices to develop our brand at target schools.
Experience & Skills
- Position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent experience may be substituted for degree) plus at least 3+ years of relevant experience.- Experience recruiting various engineering and technical disciplines.- Experience with applicant tracking systems, resume databases, social networking, and sourcing tools.- Requires proven ability to support/interact with all levels management.- Must be organized with great attention to detail.- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications.- U.S. Only Citizenship required.- Requires the ability to protect company sensitive information.- Familiarity with EEO regulations and experience recruiting within government contracting strongly desired.
