Job Overview

The Job requires that candidate to analyze, design, develop, test, maintain and implement software applications within AvidXchange's suite of applications.

What You'll Do

Collaborating in small, focused Agile teams with experienced engineers to perform full life cycle application developmentBuilding open communication with your Product Owner, Quality Test Automation Engineers, fellow Software Engineers, Development DBA and Scrum Master to understand and transform business requirements into business-savvy featuresSolving problems, debugging and optimizing code to ensure optimum performance and security Teaming up with QA to review, approve and design against test cases- ensuring our demanding customers' expectations are fulfilledCreate code solutions that follow architecture’s prescribed standards and industry best practicesCreate unit tests for new and existing solutions, ensuring that unit test coverage meets expectations

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relatedSound coding practices, such as unit testing, object-oriented programming, and patternsHandling code via source control systems (such as Git) in continuous integration environmentsPracticing Agile software development processes (Scrum/Kanban)Building applications in Azure-based Cloud architecturesDesigning solutions with modern architecture patterns background: Microservices, SOA, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Asynchronous Messaging, Service Bus, Event Sourcing, APIs, Web ServicesUsing SQL including stored procedures, indexes, and functionsEmploying secure coding practices including familiarity with OWASP top ten
