Your Impact

You will have overall responsibility for Corporate Accounting and global consolidation, working closely with the Revenue and SEC reporting teams to support the company’s financial reporting deliverables. This role requires strong team leadership skills, specifically managing and building best-in-class, operationally focused teams and fostering effective and collaborative cross-functional relationships.

What You’ll Do

Location: Remotely from USA

Reports to: VP, Accounting

Direct Reports

Oversee global consolidations, including US GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Government accounting and compliance utilizing Dynamics 365 and adjacent systemsCollaborate with business and functional leaders, including Commercial Controllership, Revenue, FP&A, SEC reporting, Tax, IT, and Internal Audit to coordinate information flow and drive operational excellence and robust controls to deliver a high quality and timely closeOversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly management financial reporting deliverables, will be key liaison with external auditorsBuild and develop a high-performance team, establish and continuously improve business processes and procedures to drive scalability in a high growth environmentOversee the analysis and diagnosis of KPI and productivity Close metrics to optimize operational results over timeCollaborate with cross functional leaders to design, lead and implement process transformation to drive seamless Close and reporting processLead special projects such as M&A integration, ERP upgrade, new accounting and reporting standards implementation

What You Bring

10+ years of relevant experienceBS or equivalent in accounting or financeCPAA mix of Big 4 and industry experience managing global consolidations and financial systems function at complex and multi-national publicly-traded companiesExperience with ERP systems and reporting tools (D365, HFM, Microsoft office and Power platform)Strong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycleExperience in managing a global teamStrong business acumen and continuous improvement mindsetAbility to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with M&A integrationExperience with leading ERP implementation/upgradeExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong leadership, communication, organization and technology skills

Experience with D365, Microsoft Power Platform and Hyperion Financial Management a plusStrong technical accounting and documentation skills, ability to research complex accounting mattersGovernment accounting experience in Aerospace or Defense industry a plusFinancial Planning & Analysis ExperienceStrong financial systems skillUnderstanding of transfer pricing methodology and approach

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 140,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 250,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
