Our Ways of WorkingWe have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. What the Role IsBabylist is looking for an Inventory Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate management of our inventory. As the Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, analyzing inventory performance and cycle counting data, dispositioning impaired inventory, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory control processes. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including Operations, Logistics, Planning and Finance, to maintain optimal stock levels and to support company growth objectives. The Inventory Analyst role reports to the Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Operations Manager within the Supply Chain team. As the analyst, you are detail-oriented and analytically minded. You possess strong problem-solving skills and are willing to learn all aspects of our business supply chain.

Who You AreAt least 3-4 years of experience in Logistics, Inventory Control, Material Management or Supply ChainStrong knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practicesProficient using inventory management software and tools, especially Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from inventory dataKnowledge of supply chain processes, including purchasing, warehousing, and distributionEffective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teamsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyDetail-oriented and highly organizedStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesFamiliarity with e-commerce platforms and online retail operations is a plusAbility to work independently and communicate with vendors

How You Will Make An ImpactMonitor and maintain accurate system inventory levels using various internal and external inventory management systems and tools.Troubleshoot errors relating to the consumption of 3PL transactional data into Babylist’s system inventory record.Monitor and report on key inventory performance indicators, such as shrink, impaired inventory, write-off values, and adjustment frequencies.Partner with warehouse operations to execute the perpetual ABC cycle-counting program on schedule and monitor count results for program compliance.Lead root cause and corrective action interventions and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of inventory replenishment and distribution.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to inventory management.Additional job duties or responsibilities may be assigned.

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The estimated pay range for this role is $60,590.00 - $90,885.00
