WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Web Data CoE has a mission to be and provide data to all uplines within Bain. We are sector and region agnostic. Through proprietary technologies and tools built internally we can extract targeted data from many web pages. The Web Data CoE is an active participant in innovation for alternative data software solutions that leverage webscraping technologies.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Specialist in Web Data Operations, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for managing and executing web scraping projectsYou will become a domain expert in webscraping, particularly with the using of Bain's proprietary webscraping software for the delivery of accurate and timely dataProject types will include one-time web data extractions as well as supporting recurring projects that are part of ongoing Bain IP development

Product training and skill development - (15%)Delivery Management, as technical lead - (70%)QA for Web Data Engineering - (5%)Asset building (Bain IP and collateral development) - (10%)
ABOUT YOU
Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience: 1+ years prior webscraping experience preferred or equivalent technical experience
Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in web scraping tools and techniques preferredExcellent technical abilitiesExpertise in ES6+ JavaScript, NoSQL, HTML preferredExperience with Node.JS, Python, proxy services preferredStrong communication and time management skillsSelf-starterCreative problem solver
