The Downstream Chemicals team leverages this experience to provide best-in-class support to improve water and process treatment applications within the refineries where we operate.

As a Refinery Account Representative, you are responsible for
Building long-term strategic relationships with customers to originate sales opportunities and develop strategies for business growth Partnering with sales and engineering representatives to deliver technical presentations to customers to provide value and process improvements Providing account management fundamentals to understand customer needs, requirements and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account budget P&L Identifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers Monitoring and maintaining existing programs for customers to provide reporting on performance of applications Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers

To be successful in this role you will
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline Minimum of 3 years experience in hydrocarbon process treatment or water treatment for waste water, boilers, and cooling towers Solid understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales process Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation Have a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions Able to present complex technical content to various levels of the organization, internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner
