Plant Controller

Banyan Search is assisting an exceptional corporation with a facility in Mebane, NC in their search for a Plant Controller. The Controller will report directly to the corporate CFO with dotted line reporting to the Plant General Manager. The Plant Controller will provide oversight to all accounting related activities for the Plant and will be a strategic business partner in managing financial decisions.Specific responsibilities include:and direct all financial operations of the facility, including leading the monthly close process, understanding financial performance, cost drivers, variances, distribution costs and anything that impacts the financial results of the facilityall budgeting and forecasting processes within the facility and explain variances as needed, including developing strategic plans and annual budgetsinventory standard costs and manage inventory valuations and cycle countsKPI’s for facilityand improve financial processes and reportingresult to executive and operational leadership to promote efficiency and process improvementsall capital expenditure approvalswith internal and external customers (including auditors) to support and provide reporting and analysis as neededThe Controller/Director of Finance is a critical role within this facility, and exceptional leadership and communication skills are required. In addition, the candidate should have:in Accounting, Finance or related fieldand/or MBA strongly preferredyears of experience, with some experience as a Controller or Asst.
