Per Diem Registered Nurse - Hospice

BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in our BAYADA at Inspira Hospice office, located in West Deptford, NJ . This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland Counties.

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territoriesPerform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and proceduresMonitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services ManagerFollow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' ordersPerform client assessments as necessaryCase management and coordinationAccurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications For a Registered Nurse (RN)

A current license as a Registered Nurse in NJ.A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong interpersonal skills.Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
