QA Tester

Job Summary:We are looking for a meticulous QA Tester to contribute to the high standards of software quality and reliability that our healthcare products demand. As a QA Tester at Medline, you will be part of a dynamic team that ensures our software applications meet our stringent specifications and customer expectations through detailed testing, documentation, and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate new software products and updates.Identify, record, and track bugs systematically.Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner.Maintain and update testing and defect logs.Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management regarding testing progress and project status.Work within regulatory standards, including compliance with FDA regulations for software testing in a medical context.Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in software QA testing.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.Knowledge of SQL and scripting is an advantage.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
