📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Software Quality Assurance Tester6 months contract to hire
Responsibilities
Participate in requirements and design reviews to thoroughly understand business needs to ensure comprehensive testing scenarios were performedReview functional/design specifications, and other project documents to extract test requirements for the account information functionalityAnalyze and reviewed business requirements, technical designs and functional specs into test strategy and test plansCreate functional and user Interface test cases based on the project requirementsWork closely with development teams to troubleshoot, investigate, identify and fix application defectsReport the defects in Quality Center to development team on periodic basis and performed regression testing to ensure the functionality did not introduce new defectsPerform functional, user interface, end to end and regression testing and generated test metricsValidate reporting features that allowed users to view equipment repair histories by instrument or by category, providing valuable information for budgeting and planning of surgical instrument needs
Minimum Job Requirements
EducationBachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Work Experience7+ years of experience in designing and executing test cases with more than 5 years on web based applications.5+years of experience writing automation test scripts using Selenium Java Framework for desktop and mobile web-based applications.Experience using tools like Jenkins, JIRA, IDEs like Eclipse or Intellij Idea.Must have working experience in Agile/Scrum teams.Must have experience in building mobile automation frameworks using Appium.Experience with automating RESTful and SOAP APIs.Experience in automating tests to run in parallel.Experience in analyzing results of automation test runs.Hands on with at least one database and SQL.
