📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title- HistotechnicianShift/TimeZone: 7AM-3:30PM EST - flexible Monday-FridayDuration- 6 to 8 MonthsLocation- White Plains, NY
We're seeking a Histology Lab Technician to prepare tissue samples, manage paperwork, and ensure proper processing in our lab. You'll handle embedding, slide preparation, staining, and equipment maintenance, adhering to quality and safety standards. Compliance with regulations and maintaining a clean workspace are crucial. A bachelor's degree is preferred, with histology lab experience being beneficial. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about histology, we'd love to hear from you.
Minimum QualificationsA.A., A.S. degree and one year of experience within the last 10 years, OR H.S. education or equivalent. 5 years of full-time acceptable experience as a Histotechnician within the last 10 years.HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) OR five years of full-time experience in the last 10 years
Additional Job Details:Derm Experience ideal/highly preferredHT or HTL ASCP REQUIRED or NYS HT license
