📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title- Software Engineer (Java)Location- Seattle, WA (Hybrid)Pay rate- $65-75/hr on W2Interview- Video (2 Rounds)
Description:We are looking for very talented and motivated software engineers to join its Marketing Technology team. The team is responsible for the world class platforms and algorithms powering all of outbound traffic, advertising, and its affiliate program. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining features for the Marketing Technology platforms, specifically for Unified Experience Platform. This is an exciting and business critical role given Marketing Technology's importance.
Job Responsibilities:Designing and developing application features based on a rapidly changing business strategy and new partner API enhancements.Flexible, adaptable, and able to autonomously manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Rapidly prototype new features and then productionalize them in a more hardened Production environmentFocusing on scaling and enhancing the existing platform with maintainability in mind.Collaborate with product owners, end users, architects, engineers, QA and Operations teams to develop and support strategic and tactical solutions.The ability to independently design, code and test major features, as well as collaborate with other team members to deliver complex applications.Good communication skills, and the ability to work individually and independently, within a team, and across teams.Sound understanding of OOP, design patterns, API design and scalable system architecture.Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Junit, TestNG is required. Experience in using SQL and NoSQL databases is required. Preferred candidates would have 5+ years of professional experience.Write software design documents, specifications, test cases, setting up automation in ECD/CI pipelines and other artifacts required for the successful execution of the project.Highly Desired: High performance/high volume application development experience.Highly Desired: Experience in using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK, JProfiler and Java memory analyzer for performance optimization and tuning.Experience in UI development stack using React, Material-UI, Javascript, Typescript will be a plus.
