BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Accountant for an opportunity in United States – Remote! Position Title: Accountant (CPA)Location: United States – RemoteAnticipated Start Date: 04/29/2024.Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6+ months.Job Type: ContractPay Range: $30-35/hr. on W2Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description:BS/BA Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related degreeMay have advanced degree/CPA.2-3 years accounting experience.Operational experience in a Direct-to-Consumer order management environment a plus.Represent Finance in development, testing and implementation of functional changes related to enhancements on the front end and backend order management system as it relates to sales accounting.Support cross-functional agile project team (Finance, MGT, Marketing, Web team, and Customer Call Center) through work sessions to best determine the design and functional scope/requirements of projects.Gather, document and clearly communicate project requirements from business and project teams.Understand business processes while providing input in development, testing and implementation of programming changes.Partner with cross functional teams to strategize and execute testing, influence decision making when resolving defects and defining business and functional requirements.Assist with organization of strategy in user acceptance testing and troubleshooting for all new functionality; manage and lead prioritization of testing defects for the project for proper tracking, resolution and implementationCreate and execute test scenarios and test scripts. Ensure completeness in validation.Support Sales Audit and Finance on identifying and resolving operational issues within order management system.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure rapid and successful execution of projects.
