Citrix Engineer

This opportunity is set up as a 12 month contract that is hybrid on-site 3 days per week (Tues/Weds/Thurs) in downtown Chicago.

Required Qualifications:5+ years of Citrix Virtual Apps or Desktop experienceWindows Operating Systems, desktop support, understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)Experience working with large-scale infrastructure environmentsBasic understanding of scripting using PowerShellWorking knowledge of Windows 10 & 11Basic understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, etc.)Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Windows management tools such as SCCM and Workspace ONEExperience with Service NOW incidents and requestsWorking knowledge of certificate management processExperience with tools such as Director, Citrix Studio, and VenafiFamiliarity with SysTrack or other monitoring toolsPrevious experience in a leadership role is a plus

OverviewOur client is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Citrix Engineer, who is a motivated, self-starter that can assist with our virtual desktop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proficient in supporting both physical and virtual end-user desktop environments through innovative solutions. Demonstrates a strong drive to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution. Possesses a keen awareness of emerging technologies that align within our organization. Proactively identifies opportunities for streamlining processes, adding value, and elevating the overall end-user experience. This position requires being present at our corporate downtown Chicago office three days per week.
