📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a Sr. Signage & Interior Designer! This is an 8+ month contract role with potential to extend/convert full-time and would require you to go onsite to their office in either Greater Boston or Johnston, RI.
In this role you'll be responsible for developing, evolving, documenting, and maintaining design standards for interior construction, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, environmental graphics, materials, and furniture to carry out our design intent. You will review construction drawings, specifications, and technical details to ensure that elements are coordinated within design documents, to meet interior approved décor package standards.Qualifications:3+ years in architecture, interior design, or retail industry with a focus on designPortfolio of interior architecture or interior design accomplishmentsStrong influencing, negotiating, and presentation skillsPossess thought leadership ability and a continuous improvement mindsetAbility to build strong partnerships with peers, internal partners, suppliers, and leaders, collaborating to drive business objectives, strategy, and financial performanceLead and manage multiple complex and overlapping design projects with tight timelines in an extremely fast-paced environmentProficient in interpreting construction documents (e.g., architectural, structural, finish plans, lighting) with a critical eye toward architectural design challenges and opportunitiesExperience with developing strong design presentations, successfully selling in concepts and influencing at all levels of the organization in support of design strategy and objectivesProven experience using AutoCad, Microsoft, and Photoshop to develop and present design concepts and bring vision and ideas to life through drawings, elevations and renderings
