Your RoleThe Supply Planner is responsible for developing a supply strategy that ensures product availability in the most efficient manner for the business. This highly collaborative role will accomplish this through Material requirements Planning. This position will interface extensively with the demand planning function, sourcing, purchasing, product development, marketing, and sales.The Supply Planner will also contribute to system & process improvements & be asked to creatively problem solve any business issues that may arise.

Essential Job FunctionsAnalyze, prioritize & manage supply cycles for all assigned products and categoriesCollaborate with Ops. leadership on supply chain strategy and assure system resources are in place to support deployment within KPI targetsIdentifying supply risks and/or production capacity constraints and offering solutions to the businessSet correct levels of inventory within the Supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times. Specifically, the creation of a safety stock strategy and plan that enables continuity of product availability at the optimal level of cash investmentResponsible for inventory management and the applicable reporting methods including DOS, excess / obsolete and health of inventoryInteraction with various support groups to accomplish new product process and the execution of the production planEnsure within the Supply Plan that products are being phased in and planned correctly as well as ensure communication and timing of exiting products within the plant or 3rd partyOversee component material requirement and collaborate with sourcing/demand planning on execution strategyInvestigate issues and inefficiencies across operationCommunicate with business partners regarding the status of the product portfolio from a supply planning perspectiveParticipate in and contribute towards, process improvement initiatives and goalsResponsible for implementation of strategic supply chain agreements with suppliers including material release agreements and inventory management strategiesDevelop and recommend appropriate proposals to mitigate risks when identified and ensure that the plant or 3rd party can meet the future demandMonitor and identify materials or capacity constraints and work with functional representatives to resolve and support the replenishment plan

SKILLS, ABILITIES and EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5 years related of planning experience in operations, manufacturing and/or direct sales environment.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on daily tactical tasks and support strategic initiatives with high complexity and business impactKnowledge of MRP system set up and deployment is a plusExcellent Microsoft excel skills requiredExperience with NetSuite is a plus but not requiredGood communication skills; written, oral and inter-personalAbility to work independently and employ effective time management skillsAble to establish structure & pursue information with minimal directionStrong presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft office suite of products

CompensationThe salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the expected salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 USD.

Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote.
