Product Associate I

The main responsibility for this position is to serve as a liaison between Research and Sales. This position is also responsible for ensuring the quality of data, note taking, and product training opportunities performed by the product team.

Responsibilities

Assist Regional Product Specialist (RPS) or product leads in special projects as neededAssist Data Specialist and other product team members in data entry and running reports.Collect, organize and enter data from replicated, Choice plots and originator trials.Characterize experimental corn, soybean and wheat products and their potential utility in the Beck lineup.Summarize and communicate product information to Beck customers, sales staff and dealers.Prepare presentations for customers, sales staff, dealers and other company personnel.Present product information at launch meetings, training meetings, summer camp, field shows and various other events.Assist in the lab packaging seed during peak times.Assist in planting and harvesting of plots as needed.Perform other related duties as may be required by the Product Lead and product team.

Job Requirements

Education

1 Education and training:

Bachelor of Science Degree in an agricultural related field.Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy. Technical knowledge:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Possess strong agronomic skills.Possess positive attitude.Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work as a team member, and proceed with objectives without supervision.Basic computer and current software skills. Experience:Agricultural experience2-3 years of related work experience TravelSome overnight travel is required visiting various plots and trials as well as genetic supplier meetings and field show events.
