A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is a healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide various types of rehabilitative care to patients. PTAs assist in the implementation of treatment plans and exercises designed to help individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions that affect their physical function and mobility. Our Physical Therapists can work in various healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics.Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.- Prior experience in occupational health is preferred but not required.
