Accounts Payable Specialist
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are currently searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will be responsible for all accounts payable activities including processing invoices and payments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Maintain all Accounts Payable files, as well as vendor information and W9 collection.Manage the Purchase Order file to ensure open items are updated and accurate.Match purchase orders with vendor invoices and code appropriately.Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve past due or disputed items.Prepare weekly reports, including ACH reconciliations and check runs.Perform month-end close out procedures, including AP to GL reconciliation and report preparation.Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.Research and respond to all Accounts Payable inquiries in a prompt manner.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.Two years of related experience required, experience with Integrated Payables and cloud based ERPs a plus.
